CT Institute’s Student Outshines In AIU Youth Fest

Jal, Feb 21, 2015: Representing PTU in 50th National Youth Festival of AIU- Mahesh Jangir, student of B.Tech (ME) VI semester of CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology (CTIEMT) bagged Silver medal. The youth fest was held at Indore.

The theme of the clay modeling event was “Struggle” at the National fest. Sharing his views, Mahesh said that the struggle is a part of everybody’s life but he tried to explore and show it from a common man perspective. He showcased – Two men were constantly trying to put aside the heavy stone with the help of sticks. I tried to capture their efforts, strain and the “struggle” through my art.

Mahesh was the only student who represented PTU at the fest. Besides, this prestigious award, he had won many other awards and medals in various youth festivals while participating in various competitions of foremost repute since two years. He earned Gold Medal in PTU Zonal and Inter Zonal Youth Festivals and silver medal in 30th North Zone Intervarsity held at Jammu.

Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director, CT Institutions) said, “It was indeed a prestigious win for our students and the institute as he will now grab the opportunity to further prove his worth at international platform. The energy of the youth in the finest possible manner needs to be channelized so that they may continue bringing name and fame to themselves and their Alma mater.” S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated the student and wished him best for his future endeavors.
