Movie Review by Young India
Direction: Mandeep Benipal
Production: Kuljinder Singh Sidhu, Dinesh Sood, Rajiv Kumar & Sanjeev Joshi.
Story: It is the story of Ronnie Brar who is a NRI. He returns from abroad & transformed into a ‘Yoddha’ named Ranjodh Singh. His life is totally changed from a casual NRI to a man on a mission after the incidents that took place in the life of his fiancee Navdeep Kaur played by newbie Unnati Davara.
Review: After the grand success of ‘Sada Haq’, the team make a comeback from the film ‘Yoddha- The Warrior‘, which recently released on this Friday (31st October).
Due to ‘Sada Haq,’ the expectations are very high but somewhere it doesn’t met the all expectations. But at the same time actors did a decent job. Unnati Davara who marks her debut with this film have done full justice with her character. She did superb job & gave a wonderful performance. Kuljinder played his character very well, dialogue delivery & expressions are good.
Rahul Dev proves his metal of acting as a villain with the character of ‘Ghugga’. Girja Shankar also played a villain. He is perfect in his role.
Music is good, the song ‘Ghora’ is a cherry on cake. ‘Ranjha’ is melodious. Title track ‘Yoddha’ is good. Director Mandeep Benipal use his skills very well. His shot makings, story sequencing and the way he has used the background locations are excellent. The story written by Kuljinder Singh Sidhu and Amardeep Singh Gill is simple but in some parts it becomes weak.
Yoddha gives young generation an excellent message ‘to stay away from drugs’.
